Over 37 years, Playbox Theatre at The Dream Factory, Warwick, along with its strategic regional studios, has built a superb reputation for its creative work with children and young people. We now seek a vital new member of our CREATIVE TEAM to maintain the company’s vision and objectives in leading and developing theatre and allied arts workshops/programmes for the company.
The role is unique and the person we seek will be devoted to the company mission and maintain the high standards of delivery to ages 5-20 (there is the option to specialise in working with a narrower age group for candidates with age-specific experience).
The post requires hard work, comes with a high level of responsibility and commitment, the ability to plan and think quickly, have lots of fun, dare to be different and meet each challenge that comes your way.
Within your role you will:
Opportunities exist to direct your own productions and projects in the studio theatre with further possibilities to direct one of Playbox Theatre’s main house productions annually.
You must have specialist knowledge in some of the following areas:
You will need to keep up to speed with current artistic developments in multi forms of arts disciplines and suggest appropriate material for Playbox Theatre usage.
