This Christmas, Playbox Theatre invites you to journey to Neverland in a new production of J.M. Barrie’s timeless masterpiece, Peter Pan.
With Mr and Mrs Darling out for dinner, and Nana chained up in the yard, Wendy, John and Michael are swept from their nursery by a boy who cannot – who will not – grow up.
In Neverland, they encounter lost children, fierce pirates, mermaids and fairies, discovering a world where imagination reigns and adventure is nestled around every corner. Yet beneath the wonder lies a more poignant truth: that childhood, however magical, cannot last forever.
Faithful to Barrie’s original story, this enchanting production captures both the exhilaration and the melancholy at the heart of one of literature’s most beloved tales.
