Playbox Theatre has a thriving education department, which has run workshops for schools, colleges and universities in the UK, and overseas, for over thirty years. We are passionate about creating tailor-made events to enrich the learning of young people of all ages, and are delighted to collaborate with teachers, to build the perfect bespoke experience.

Playbox has an international reputation for creating workshops and special events to support the learning and development of young people across all ages. Our directors are highly experienced, and sessions can take place either on stage at The Dream Factory in Warwick, or at your school. We can deliver education workshops for young people from pre-school, through to university level, and each event is specially tailored to suit the individual needs of the group.

Taking Your Students To A Live Theatre Production?

For students studying GCSE or A/AS Level Drama & Theatre Studies, we know watching and critiquing live performance is an important part of their understanding and development.  We offer pre- and post-show engagement activities including panels and Q&As with the creative team, director and cast, behind-the-scenes tours and workshops based on some of the techniques and processes used during rehearsals. We also offer great group rates and resource packs for teachers.
