Here you will find upcoming audition information, as well as details of rehearsal and performance dates, so that you can check your family’s availability and sign up for future castings. You’ll also be able to check what special opportunities are available to members, including masterclasses, research & development sessions, and extra events that we think you will be interested in.
The Members’ Area also keeps you in the loop regarding what some of our young people are getting up to – special news, successes and initiatives.

Auditions will take place at The Dream Factory on Tuesday 18th June.
Time: 4.30-6.00pm
Age suitability: 9-18 yrs
Preparation: You must prepare and learn 14 lines of Shakespeare of your choice. Please select a passage that is appropriate for you, and from a play that you like. This must be learnt in advance.
Shakespeare Young Company is only available to members of Playbox Acting workshops. If you are not currently an Acting member, but you would like to sign up, and become eligible to audition for SYC, please email membership@playboxtheatre.com
If you are successful in being offered a place in Shakespeare Young Company, please be aware that workshops take place every Friday evening at The Dream Factory. It is a high commitment course, and you must ensure that you are able to prioritise SYC over other activities.
