The skills that are explored in Playbox Theatre’s core workshops can be successfully applied to building the confidence, and effectiveness, of teachers across all school groups. Our directors have lots of real experience, which enables them to guide participants through a range of exercises and rehearsal techniques, which can really support adults to engage students, build their own courage, consider body-language, and to consider more creative approaches to learning.

Teacher Training events are always tailor-made to suit the requirements, aims and objectives of our clients and are hosted at The Dream Factory, in Warwick.

Skills we explore include:

• Importance of voice and body language
• Dissolving barriers and improving student engagement
• Classroom control techniques
• Approaches to dealing with difficult situations
• How to effectively probe unchartered territory within the classroom
• How to make your delivery the best it can be

We are also happy to create work specific to a particular department and will liaise with partners to ensure we deliver events with maximum impact.
