Recital for Peace

As is the case for many individuals and organisations, we felt rather helpless as this conflict developed. Our core mission is to help young people to gain in skills and confidence, and we watched as the young were amongst the most vulnerable in the cities of Ukraine and felt we must do something, no matter how small.

This recital is simply a ‘coming together’ with words in their various forms – the currency that Playbox uses – and an opportunity for the young people of Playbox Theatre to take time to create something positive and meaningful, whilst raising a small contribution to help. It is not a lofty performance, but it is honest and heartfelt and we invite you to share the event with us.

Compiled and directed by: Mary King, Emily Quash, Toby Quash, Juliet Vankay and Owen Young, the event will feature over 50 young performers from across our Musical Theatre, Voice & The Young Actor, Shakespeare Young Company and Acting departments.
