Playbox Theatre is delighted to announce that local companies, Aubrey Allen and Oscar’s French Steakhouse & Bistro will be supporting the summer season of work on stage at The Dream Factory.
In a programme that sees the stage shift from plane wreckage on a desert island, through the expanses of Ancient Greek landscapes and worlds beyond our own, Aubrey Allen and Oscar’s will be helping the company to create environments that will really enhance the productions, and deliver excitement for both the casts and audiences.
At Playbox, our ambition is always to provide our young people with the best possible experience of working on stage, and this can really be enhanced by a visual design that reflects the work they are creating. With ever-increasing costs, this can be challenging to deliver, however our Summer Sponsors will ensure that design is fully realised, and beautifully designed to integrate with the work.
Artistic Director, Emily Quash, said “It’s such a treat to have two much-loved local companies partnering us this summer. The teams at Aubrey Allen and Oscar’s are passionate about delivering excellence across all of their work, and this aligns perfectly with our intention to provide unparalleled experiences in everything we do. The environments that we are creating for our summer season are woven into the styles of the shows, and we’re excited for our cast members to explore them! Both Aubrey Allen and Oscar’s Steakhouse & Bistro have been very supportive of Playbox Theatre and we are proud to join forces once again.”
Lucianne Allen of Aubrey Allen and Oscar’s French Bistro, said, “We decided to be a season sponsor for Playbox as we are passionate believers in all they do. Not only do they give young people the opportunity to be part of some truly professional style productions, they teach them about commitment, team work, friendship and belonging. Playbox provides an incredible space for them to thrive and feel valued and grow in confidence.
