We are seeking a small but talented ensemble of actors to bring a dynamic and highly charged version of Strindberg’s naturalistic one act play to the Playbox Studio Theatre.
Miss Julie follows a brief but passionate affair between Julie, a Countess, and Jean, the valet who works for her father. At its heart, the play is about class, desire and two people struggling for power.
All actors must be available for every rehearsal and performance, without exception – actors must not audition if there is a rehearsal or performance clash with another Playbox commitment.
Rehearsals are intensive daytime sessions, so this production is suitable for young people who have finished their school exams.
Open to ALL Playbox Theatre members 17+.
