How to Apply for Autumn 2025

To be considered for Professionals, please submit the following information to membership@playboxtheatre.com:

• Your name and which Playbox workshop you attend
• A short statement on why you wish to join
• Your career aspirations and interest in theatre

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to an interview where you’ll learn more about the programme and meet the team.

Parents are welcome to attend interviews and will be invited to events throughout the year.

Please note: Professionals and Shakespeare Young Company are both weekly commitment programmes, forming a key part of Playbox Theatre’s Advanced Training Pathway, led by Stewart McGill and Mary King. These programmes are designed to give dedicated members a vital head start in their artistic journeys.

These workshops are only open to registered members of Playbox Theatre, who must additionally attend their weekly core theatre workshop.
