Playbox Theatre, with the generous support of Warwickshire’s Migrant Team, is offering a unique opportunity for teenagers in Warwickshire who have been displaced by the war in Ukraine. Young Ukrainians are invited to participate in a series of engaging and creative theatre workshops designed to foster personal growth and artistic expression.
The workshops will take place in a safe and welcoming environment for young people to connect with their own peers, as well as building friendships with young people from Warwickshire – alongside developing new skills, and exploring their creative potential through theatre and performance.
Details of the workshops are as follows:
Sunday, June 8th: 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Sunday, June 15th: 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Sunday, June 22nd: 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM
The final workshop will be followed by a celebratory BBQ for participants and their families, as well as tickets to see Playbox Theatre’s summer musical TOMMY.
All workshops will be held at Playbox Theatre in Warwick and will be completely free of charge. We encourage all interested young people to join us for this opportunity to create, learn, and connect in a thriving artistic environment.
The workshops will be run by Nancy Farino, a professional actor and Playbox alumna. For more information on Nancy, visit our alumni page or visit her agency page.
