PLAYBOX THEATRE STAGE CALAMITY JANE FOR EASTER AT THE DREAM FACTORY
Playbox Theatre present the iconic Hollywood musical CALAMITY JANE at The Dream Factory, Warwick for Easter.
The hit show was first seen in 1953 as a vehicle for the superstar US sensation, Doris Day. The role is now taken by 19-year-old Jesamine Dempsey in a show set to cheer the spirits and brighten the heart.
Playbox Theatre’s Dream Factory becomes the Western town of Deadwood for the song and dance production full of lovely and memorable numbers, including ‘Windy City’, ‘Black Hills of Dakota’ and the chart topping ‘Secret Love’.
Directed by Juliet Vankay, with Musical Direction by Sam Young, the 43-member cast invite audiences young and old to take the Deadwood Stage for a fabulous spring journey into the Old West with Playbox this Easter.
