We are very excited to announce our upcoming Studio Season which will be inspired by The Blue Rider without any preloaded rules, crossing genre and form.

Playbox Theatre’s 40 seat intimate studio at The Dream Factory becomes a home for rare and experimental performance in the new season. Taking the theme from The Blue Rider group of artists led by Kandinsky and Marc before World War 1, who sought to explore connections between visual art, music, text, colour moving towards abstraction. They were at the forefront of a new movement to battle the traditional limits of artistic expression.
