BackstageThis summer, we’re opening the doors to the world behind the scenes at Playbox Theatre.
Join us every Friday from 6th June to 11th July, 12.00–12.30pm, for a free, guided backstage tour of The Dream Factory – the UK’s first-ever purpose-built theatre for young people.
Led by Playbox Theatre’s Consultant Director, Stewart McGill, these special tours offer a rare glimpse into the heart of Playbox.
You’ll explore dressing rooms, wardrobe and props departments, wings and stage, as well as the full range of studios where creativity comes to life every day.
Whether you’re a long-time Playbox family or brand new to us, this is a wonderful opportunity to see more of what we do and how we do it. Stewart will share the story of how The Dream Factory came to be and will be on hand to answer your questions along the way.
No need to book in advance, simply meet at the box office, and step into the world behind the magic. Everyone is welcome!
